Acro 8-12 6:30-7:30pm

Class Description

ACROBATICS – This class is for students wanting to learn acrobatic technique along with strength and flexibility exercises. Acrobatic training teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, and above all, discipline and concentration. The high degree of discipline and concentration required for acrobatics carries over too many aspects of a student’s life, including academics and other athletic performance. Attire: Any color leotard, footless tan tights.

Class Description

Pointe technique is the part of strong classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes

Legacy Ballet 6:30-8:00pm

Class Description

LEGACY BALLET – This class is for the advanced who is solidifying ballet technique in a classically disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Black leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes.

Boys - Black sweatpants or tights, white T-shirt, black ballet shoes.

Elevate Ballet 5:15-6:30pm

Class Description

ELEVATE BALLET – 10 to 14yrs. old. Students with experience wanting to solidify ballet technique and terminology in a classically disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Purple Leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes. Approx age 10-13 yr olds.

Class Description

SOAR MUSCIAL THEATRE – This class is for the experienced advanced/pro students wanting to dance and act while experiencing Broadway/movie style choreography. While learning the history behind what they learn. Attire: Any color leotard, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, dance shorts. Approx 8-10 yr olds.

Elevate Contemporary 7:00 – 8:00pm

Class Description

Elevate Contemporary – This class is for the intermediate/advanced student who is interested in a mixture of ballet and jazz technique in order to execute a more fluid, interpretive and expressive form of dance. Ballet experience is a must before entering this class. Approx age 10-13 yr olds

Legacy Contemporary 8:00-9:00pm

Class Description

LEGACY CONTEMPORARY – This class is for the advanced student who has studied a mixture of ballet and jazz technique in order to execute a fluid, interpretive and expressive form of dance. Ballet experience is a must before entering this class.

Class Description

LEGACY HIP HOP– – This class has an advanced high level of playfulness and exploration through “move-meant” concepts and techniques. This is for the advanced hip hop dancer who is executing exact Moves that hold meaning and value, informed by personal, social, cultural, and environmental experiences. Hip-hop dance features multiple rhythms and movements. It is percussive, improvisational, where it engages the full body – neck, shoulders, arms, torso, rear end, hips, legs, knees, and feet. It is fluid, and the feet are flexed, not pointed. Attire: comfy baggy clothes able to move in, black hip hop sneakers. Approx age ranges – 13-18 yr olds.

SOAR BALLET –Students will learn ballet technique in a classically disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Red leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes. Approx age 8-10 yr olds

Class Description

SHINE BALLET/TAP – ½ hour ballet and ½ hour tap. Class Attire: Royal Blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes. Approx age 5-7 yr olds.

Class Description

This class is for the advanced dancer who has solidified tap technique and working to excel, execute advanced combination and steps with a disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Black Leotard, Tan tights, black tap shoes. Approx age 13-18 yr olds

Class Description

Prior tap experience – students will work on execution of steps and combinations of steps in a structured, fun, upbeat way. Attire: Black leotard, tan tights, black tap shoes. Approx age 10-13yr olds
