PRE-SCHOOL LEVEL CLASSES
Pre Schoolers –Creative Movement - 3/4 yrs. old. 20 min ballet, 20 min tap, 5 min stretching. Class Attire: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLASSES
LEVEL I BALLET/HIP HOP - Kindergarten-1st graders. 1/2 hour ballet & 1/2 hour Hip Hop. Class Attire: Lt. Blue Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black hip hop sneakers.
LEVEL I BALLET/TAP COMBO - Kindergarten - 1st graders – 1/2 hour ballet & 1/2 hour tap. Class Attire: Lt. Blue Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.
LEVEL II BALLET/TAP COMBO - 1st-3rd graders – ½ hour ballet and ½ hour tap. Class Attire: Royal Blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
LEVEL I/II LYRICAL - K-3rd graders - works on flexibility and expressive form of dance through fluid movement. Class Attire: Black leotard, tan stirrup tights, shoes - pirouettes.
LEVEL II JAZZ - 1st-3rd graders. Do you love to move to fast-paced music? What about making up your own moves as you go along? If so, jazz dance might be just the thing for you. Jazz dance is fast and fun. It uses upbeat music with kicks, leaps and turns to interpret traditional and not-so-traditional movements. Class Attire: Black leotard, tan tights, tan slip on jazz shoes.
LEVEL I/II MUSICAL THEATRE - 1st-3rd graders - This class is for beginner students wanting to dance and act while experiencing Broadway/movie style choreography. While learning the history behind what they learn. Attire: black leotard, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, dance shorts.
LEVEL II HIP HOP - 1st-3rd graders - This class is for students wanting to learn a more funky and contemporary style of movement. Attire: comfy baggy clothes able to move in, black hip hop sneakers.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES
LEVEL III BALLET – 4th-6th graders. Students will learn ballet technique in a classically disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Red leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes.
LEVEL IV BALLET – 6th-8th graders. Students with experience wanting to solidify ballet technique and terminology in a classically disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Purple Leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes.
TEEN BALLET – Variety of ages. This class is for the dancer who wants a strong ballet experience and is serious on solidifying ballet technique in a disciplined and structured curriculum. Attire: Black leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes.
TEEN POINTE – Variety of ages. By instructor’s approval - Pointe technique is the part of strong classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes. Attire: Black Leotard, pink tights, pointe shoes.
LEVEL III TAP – 4th-6th graders. - intermediate, students will work on execution of steps and combinations of steps in a structured, fun, upbeat way. Attire: Red leotard, tan tights, black tap shoes.
LEVEL IV TAP – 6th-8th graders – intermediate/advanced students will work on execution of steps and combinations of steps in a structured, fun, upbeat way. Attire: Purple leotard, tan tights, black tap shoes.
LEVEL III JAZZ - 4th-6th graders. This class is for students with a dance background who are wanting to excel and work on strength, flexibility, stamina, professionalism and to expand their skills. Ballet experience is a must. Attire: Black leotard, tan tights, dance shorts, tan jazz shoes.
LEVEL IV JAZZ– 6th-8th graders. This class is for students with a dance background who are wanting to excel and work on strength, flexibility, stamina, professionalism and to expand their skills. Ballet experience is a must. Attire: Black leotard, tan tights, dance shorts, tan jazz shoes.
LEVEL III CONTEMPORARY LYRICAL - 4th-6th graders. This class is for the intermediate student who is interested in a mixture of ballet and jazz technique in order to execute a more fluid, interpretive and expressive form of dance. Ballet experience is preferred before entering this class.
LEVEL IV CONTEMPORARY LYRICAL – 6th-8th graders. This class is for the intermediate/advanced student who is interested in a mixture of ballet and jazz technique in order to execute a more fluid, interpretive and expressive form of dance. Ballet experience is a must before entering this class.

It is percussive, improvisational, where it engages the full body - neck, shoulders, arms, torso, rear end, hips, legs, knees, and feet. It is fluid, and the feet are flexed, not pointed. Attire: comfy baggy clothes able to move in, black hip hop sneakers.

ACROBATICS - This class is for students wanting to learn acrobatic technique along with strength and flexibility exercises. Acrobatic training teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, and above all, discipline and concentration. The high degree of discipline and concentration required for acrobatics carries over too many aspects of a student’s life, including academics and other athletic performance. Attire: Any color leotard, footless tan tights.
LEAPS & TURNS PROGRESSION - Class will primarily be focused on leaps, turns, tricks, and legs. Learning new and innovative choreography to expand the student's dance vocabulary and ability when performing. This class will also focus on core, leg, and arm strength and overall flexibility. Students will build muscle, obtain balance, and gain more abilities to become stronger dancers.
TECHNIQUE W/VAL - Class will be specifically focused on a strong foundation of core, leg, foot and arm strength and overall flexibility. Students will build muscle, obtain balance, and gain more abilities to become the strongest dancers they can.
HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES
